Vaastushastra is an ancient Vedic Science which helps one to get the natural benefits freely offered by five basic elements of Universe. It can be applied by keeping in harmony with these basic five elements of nature namely Fire (Agni), Earth (Bhoomi), Air (Vaayu), Water (Jal), Sky (Aakash). Vaastushastra contains the study of Astrology, Astronomy, Geography, Metrology and many such Vedic Sciences. Application of Vaastushastra vary from place to place due to latitude or sun , distribution of land and water , pressure belts of wind , altitudes , mountain barriers ,ocean waves , storms of various kind etc.
Our sages and seers knew the secrets of using all the five elements of Universe and their special characteristics and influences such as magnetic field, gravitational force, metrology and also all planetary forces of earth, the galaxy in the sky, the directions and velocity of the winds, light and heat of Sun. It included the effects of the ultraviolet and infrared rays of the sun, the volume and intensity of rainfall etc. This worked for the advantage of the mankind in suitably planning and constructing buildings for dwelling, prayer, education, entertainment, working, production and other purposes. They evolved scientific methods and systems over the years as Vaastushastra. Our sages searched it, we are only researching it.
Man is the subject, object and the cause of architecture. He perceives and conceives architecture in relation to his experience of himself with the surrounding world. The earth itself was the part of Sun, which was formed around 460 million years ago. In due course of time, the rocks melted and the surface has formed an acquired magnetism due to magnetic particles embedded within. It has two poles and three phases in its interior- the crust, mantle and core. The earth's surface includes the oceans, the atmosphere, the upper part of the earth's crust and the biosphere.
Problems and their Remedies in Vaastushastra
Vaastushastra is based on the concept of space and other parameters given in earlier chapters. The frequency of vibration of this subtle energy, based on a particular rhythm or time measure, causes the birth and development of all objects of nature. A proper Vaastu consultation is essential for each and every individual, whether he/she believes or not, so that its vibrations are numerically equal to the vibrations of the occupants of the residence or business place which is determined by their stars.
Every living being in this world aspires for a place in which he can live comfortably, enjoying all the luxuries and happiness of this world, getting maximum benefits of heavenly boons. Some Important Renovations without Destruction
- If some river or drain is flowing in a south-east direction of the house and has anti - clock movement, then I advised to place the statue of standing Ganeshji facing the south-east corner of the house. It yielded immediate good results.
- If a naked wall is seen while entering into a flat, then either a picture or Pyramid plats should be placed there. The naked wall is the sign of loneliness. Hence, the wall should not be kept naked.
- If high voltage overhead wires pass over a house, then a plastic pipe filled with lime should be erected from one corner to the other of the affected area in such a manner that its both ends should remain outside by at least three feet each. This will eliminate the evil effects of fire element being generated out of the overhead wire.
- In certain cases, energy circles can be improved by using Pyramid Yantra. But, this requires a lot of care. This should be placed under the supervision of an able Vastu Consultant.
- If toilet is placed in North-east corner, I have advised to put a small plant in that corner. It absorbs that negative energy and make that portion fresh or else you can put bowl of salt and use air freshner.
