Integrated Strategic Information Systems Pvt. Ltd. [ISIS] is a project management-consulting firm, specializing in providing cost-effective solutions through the application of state-of-the-art management tools and techniques. ISIS was founded to help organizations strategically integrate and harness their most dynamic forces ? people, technology, and business environment ? to accomplish their pre-determined goals. ISIS operates in three areas namely enterprise project management products, management programs, and process automation.
The management team at ISIS brings with it a rich experience in planning and quality automation. The team has being working in this domain since 1987. A major portion of the expertise comes from the planning automation projects that were undertaken for NASA, US Navy, Chrysler, etc. Other related experience was in building quality automation tools including code parsers, auto documentation tools, standards checkers, etc. Prior to founding ISIS, the team developed a SEI-CMM enabler for, what is now, one of the biggest software companies in India. This tools suite not only helped the company to get to SEI-CMM Level-5, but also helped them to be assessed at the highest maturity of CMMI.

The team started ISIS in 1996 with the aim of developing a product to help organizations build a highly collaborative workforce while bringing transparency to all stakeholders. Such a system was to facilitate timely intervention and decisions, establish reuse and sharing of knowledge, all this and more, to improve the productivity and bottom-line of the enterprise.

The integrated paradigm of iPlan was built on extensive market research to understand how projects were executed, how teams interacted, and the problems they faced in all phases of the project management lifecycle. This research was done with 79 organizations across major segments like automobile, publishing, manufacturing, construction, software, pharmaceutical, and R&D.

In 1998, this enterprise project management tool suite was put through a rigorous beta at 18 companies to understand the strengths and benefits of this new paradigm. Finally in 1999, the tool suite was released for commercial use.

Moving forward, the iPlan suite of tools will grow to assist organizations to manage their portfolios while integrating to other processes and systems. Working closely with their clients and partners, ISIS will strive to deliver integrated solutions that will steer the corporate towards the accomplishment of their goals and become a force to reckon with, in the competitive business world of tomorrow.

We are Provided following Services :- - Initiative Management - Project Management - Requirement Mgmt. - Personnel Management - Defect Management - Timesheet Mgmt. - Quality Management - Metrics Management - Document Management - Discussion Management - Client Interface Mgmt. - Exception Management Initiative Management- The Initiative Tracker helps you manage the goals, assumptions, and constraints of your project. You can record high level issues and project risks and monitor them periodically. You can also document your cash flow projections and a top-level project plan for the initiative. Pre-approval or pre-kickoff work can be managed from this interface. When work is scheduled or due, you can define the escalation mechanism that can be used to remind and notify those responsible. Project Management- The Planner module helps you plan with ease while tracking the project's progress. You can monitor the team's input on schedule, cost, defect, size, & performance from a single screen. The Planner minimizes your overhead to manage your project and frees you to not only take timely corrective action but also to execute preventive action to keep your project within time, quality, and budget. Requirement Mgmt- The Tracer module helps you break down a concept into the functional elements and finally organize them as the requirements. By defining and tagging each context and requirement in detail, you can ensure that any gap between the concept and implementation is minimized. You can map a set of these requirements to one or more projects for implementation. From the Tracer, you can maintain complete traceability of the requirements through detailing, construction, and validation phases of the project. Personnel Management- The Profiler module captures the personal details, educational qualifications, domain expertise, and skills of an individual. The resume of an individual is automatically kept updated as he/she works on projects, and hence at any point of time the skill base of the company is up-to-date. The Profiler can be queried at any time to find availability of individuals for a specified period of time and a matching set of expertise. Defect Management- The Analyser module picks up all defects, deviation, issues, and risks recorded in each project. You can use the cause-effect diagram, Ishikawa diagram, and Pareto analysis to study different perspectives of the problems. The escalation mechanism ensures that critical issues are attended to immediately. Elaborate classification in addition to the capture of detailed issue description, instruction, and solutions cuts down on time taken to find an answer for a newly reported problem. Timesheet Mgmt.- The Organizer is the single window for the team members from where they can interface with their managers and other team members. From this module, you can view the schedules for each day, including project related work, project related issues/defects, miscellaneous work, and personal appointments. You can perform reviews of the work done by others, and log defects found in testing and validation. The record you make of the work done on project is updated to the project plan to give the managers' immediate feedback on your progress. Quality Management- One of the environments you can create in the Business Information module is the lifecycle. This can contain all the methodologies that are executed in your organization. For each of these methodologies, you can specify the phases of execution. Metrics Management- The Controller module helps you understand the productivity of your project, department, and organization. It takes periodic snapshots of the project to give you trend data for a given period. Comparisons can be done between two projects, or between a project and department, or project and organization. Similarly performance of one department can be compared with the other department or with the organization. Earned Value, quality gates for activities and issues, phase-wise effort and issue distribution, and issue removal efficiency are some of the parameters that can be used to monitor the performance and health of projects. Document Management- The Document Reference module enables you to attach reference documents such as designs, spreadsheets, graphics, databases files, etc., to any activity/issue of the project that is currently displayed in the Planner, Analyser, or Organiser. You can also attach reference documents to requirements in the Tracer. This pop-up serves as a document control system, whereby all documents remain permanently linked to the activities, issues, or requirements. Discussion Management- The iPlan Confer module can be used to share or discuss the project issues, problems, ideas, and learning, and gain knowledge through interactions across your organization or within your team. Confer is a combination of discussion forums and bulletin boards where the experts monitor only items of interest. Client Interface Mgmt.- Call-Capture Form The Call-capture form is a special mode of the Review Form module. The call-capture interface allows you to log a client's incoming call and schedule the return follow-up calls. As with the Review Form, all issues reported by the client can be captured and tracked through completion. Exception Management- In the Scheduler, events and triggers can be chosen at the department, project, and user level, so that a notification can be sent to the concerned persons either by email or system pop-up. Automate your project communication plan by scheduling reports to be generated periodically or when an event occurs and the result emailed, to the stakeholders.
