The company was established in the year 1976 in the name and style of Delhi Chemplastiks. This firm was primarily involved in the importation of Plastics and chemicals. This firm was started with a small working capital of US$50, 000.
In the year 1986 the firm turned into a private limited company in the name and style of DCP Associates (P) Ltd., with the expansion of business in the line of imports of textiles and Synthetic Leathers. The company had an annual turnover of US$7, 500, 000 by the year-end 1990.

By the year 1996, with the wider diversifications, the company became a group of companies comprising of many associates trading and overseas import firms

These new merged firms are into Imports, Distribution, Marketing, Manufacturing and Exports, and together are the DCP Group of Companies. Today DCP enjoys a high repute in the field of Importations and the distribution of Imported goods. DCP has got a wide network of sales through out India.

DCP has been pioneers in Synthetic Leathers, Fabrics and Textiles, Safety and Security goods, Plastics and Chemicals, Printing and Accessories, Toys and Gift Items, Government Supplies, Industrial Supplies Etc.
