As part of that effort, TEREX is migrating the historic brand names for many of its products to the TEREX brand, including in some cases using the historic brand name in conjunction with the TEREX brand for a transitional period of time. TEREX products are currently marketed principally under the TEREX brand name and the following historic brand names, including in some cases the use of the TEREX name in conjunction with these historic brand names: Advance, American, American Truck Company, Amida, ATC, Atlas, Bartell, Bendini, Benford, Bid-Well, Canica, Cedarapids, CMI, CMI-Cifali, CMI Johnson-Ross, Comedil, Demag, ELJay, Fermec, Finlay, Franna, Fuchs, Genie, Hi-Ranger, Jaques, Load King, Morrison, O&K, Pegson, Peiner, Powerscreen, PPM, Reedrill, Schaeff, Simplicity, Standard Havens, Tatra, Telelect, TerexLift and Unit Rig.

Several acquisitions help to position TEREX as a leader in their respective categories. Demag fills out the TEREX Cranes product offering and makes TEREX a leading crane company. Genie is a leading manufacturer of Aerial Work Platforms. The acquisitions of German manufacturers Schaeff and Fuchs make TEREX a powerhouse in the Compact Equipment category. Advance Mixer puts TEREX in the concrete mixer business. Finally, the acquisitions of Pacific Utility and EPAC provide company-owned distribution for TEREX Utilities.

TEREX acquires controlling interest in TATRA, manufacturer of on/off-road heavy-duty vehicles for commercial and military applications. The Company continued to expand its company-owned Terex Utilities distribution with the acquisition of Commercial Body and Combatel. TEREX acquires Reedrill, a manufacturer of surface drilling equipment for use in the mining, construction and utility industries.
