Sambala Vikas Swayang Sahayak Samabaya Kendra Ltd. A Cooperative registered under Orissa Self-Help-Cooperative Act2001 functioning in the district of Kandhamal dedicated to serve its members for sustainable Socio-Economic, Cultural & Political Development.

VISION- To establish a poverty free society where vulnerable needy mass would get the chance of better livelihood, opportunities support for production , consumption and agricultural and personal needs through the notion of self-help cooperation.

MISSION- To bring out a visible change for establishing a Self -Sustainable Socio-Economic, Cultural & Political Development of the society in general and of it?S Members in particular. The devices for bringing out a visible change as follows-

-Develop habit of Regular Savings, Short-term Deposit, Long term Deposit

Security Deposit , fixed deposit etc.

-Provide Loans & advances With and with out Security Both short term & long term for the purpose of Production and creation of Assets to members.

-Welfare schemes for Member families for their Socio-economic Development.

-Liaison with different Governmrnt Officials, Financial Institutions, Banks, NGOs, SHGs, and National International Organization /Agencies Cooperative Agencies as well as Local Administration for self- Development and it?S Members.

-Prepare publish and Distribute learning materials to train-up it?S members.

-Undertake such other Activities as deemed fit from time to time for benefit of it?S members.

- Supply and Marketing of the products of Members , SHGs, Firms , and other Government and Non-governmental Organizations.

Sambala Vikas Swayang Sahayak Samabaya Kendra Ltd. A Self-Help Cooperative started by few enthusiastic socially dedicated volunteers residing in the tribal district of Kandhamal Orissa assumed themselves to be the promoters and promoted a society in the name and style of Sambala Vikas Swayang Sahayak Samabaya Kendra Ltd. From 12.06.04 after which the same got recognition and registered under Orissa Self-Help-Cooperative Act2001. Afterwards the cooperative functioning in the district of Kandhamal dedicated to serve its members for sustainable Socio-Economic, Cultural & Political Development .
Sources of fund- Membership Entry fees , Share Capital, Security Savings, Saving Mobilization, Fixed Deposit, Service Charge, Loans Advances, Borrowings , Profit from Trading Sale of printing material, Interest and penalty, Profit from Supply and Marketing, Donation, Consultancy Services

Thrust Area- District of Kandhamal

Loans- Micro Loans for consumption, Production, Small business, Agriculture, Asset creation, purpose availed to members emphasizing more on the poor and marginalized class of the Cooperative. Beside that Personal/Business loans are the added features to the members of the Cooperative Society.

Maximum Loan- Maximum Loan up to Rs.5000/-for consumption, Production, Small business, Asset creation purpose & Rs.10000/-per member for Agriculture purpose. In addition to that Maximum loan up to Rs.20000/- provided to members in shape of personal/business loans those having at least 5oo shares of Svsssk Ltd. And Rs.5000/- savings either inform of monthly savings or inform of security deposit.

Security- Fifty percent security deposits (in savings pass book) kept along with collateral agreement for loan sanction.

Authorized Share Capital- 50 lakes @ Rs, 10/- each five lake shares

Paid-up-Share Capital- Eighty thousand four hundred as on 31.09.05

Time of loan release-Three months.

Interest-One percent per month for Agriculture loans and 1.5 percent for other loans.

Term- One to three years

Penalty-Penalty imposed at the rate of 1.5 percent on non-payment of monthly installments /dues.

Processing charge- Processing Charge imposed at the rate of two percent upon loans.

Beside that this cooperative deals with manufacturing , supply and marketing of different products at local national and international markets.

Manufacturer of leafplates and leafCups, Handicraft Artistic Bamboo Craft materials , Dhocra Casting Articles involvings Self-Help-Groups and also deal with supply and market different products at local national and international markets. 2.Svssk Ltd. Manufactur Termeric Powder with support of the Self-Help-Groups . 3.In course of dealing with loan services it provide different consumer goods keeping fifty percent security.
