Ltd. In association with PriceWaterHouseCoopers . The company is the leading carbon trader in the world today having traded millions of tons of CO2 equivalents.


While so many companies in India are going in for projects like renewable energy, biomass based generation etc., most of them are not aware of the benefits associated in having emission trading as a part of the schemes.

THE PROCESS:

Kyoto Protocol insists that any project builder planning to get his project listed under the Clean Development Mechanism ( CDM ) has to go through a specified process. He has to prepare a Project Idea Note ( PIN ) , Project Design Document ( PDD ) , get approval from Designated National Authority ( DNA), get the project verified by Designated Operational Entity ( DOE ) before the project is recommended for the issue of Certified Emission Receipts ( CERs) by the CDM.
